Attacking PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government over Pulwama terror attack, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said current NSA Ajit Doval handed over Masood Azhar to Pakistan. He said Ajit Doval was the deal maker who went to Kandahar to hand over Azhar back to Pakistan.
Attacking on Doklam issue Rahul Gandhi said, "when Doklam issue was on, PM Modi went to China and held a meeting without agenda. He bowed before China with folded hands and said keep Doklam and that no one in India will come to know and the media will be tackled. Matter over. This is the reality of Modi ji," ANI quoted Rahul Gandhi saying.

However, on Sunday Rahul Gandhi in a tweet, cornered PM Modi over Pulwama attack and asked him to inform 40 CRPF martyrs families about who released their murderer, Masood Azhar.
However, Government sources refuted Rahul Gandhi's claim that NSA Ajit Doval had taken Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar to Afghanistan.
Let us tell you, in 1999, Indian Airlines flight IC 814, with 176 passengers and 15 crew members on board, was hijacked by terrorists from Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, a Pakistan-based terror group primarily active in Kashmir. The group also got tacit support of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Gandhi alleged that NSA Ajit Doval went to Kandahar to hand over "murderer" Azhar. Azhar, along with some other terrorists. The plane hijack was taken to secure the release of terrorist Masood Azhar and two others.
