The Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is in Pakistan on the occasion of ground-breaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor, along with Union Ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Hardeep Singh Puri has praised Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was also present during the ground-breaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor. Appreciating India and Pakistan's move towards making Corridor for both countries Sikh pilgrimages to worship founder of Sikh religion, Guru Nanak's shrine.
"Happiness I saw today was like of those Muslims who are standing 4 km away from Medina on other side of the border, but are unable to visit it, but when they get chance to visit it, the happiness they get is the happiness they are relishing today," said Pakistan PM Imran Khan.
Speaking at the Kartarpur groundbreaking ceremony, Sidhu said that India's Constitution says do not discriminate on the basis of caste, colour and creed. Congratulates India and Pakistan on a special occasion.
Sidhu reached Pakistan on Tuesday to attend the foundation ceremony and attacking the BJP he said, “the hug (with Pakistan Army Chief) was for hardly a second, it was not a Rafale Deal. When two Punjabis meet they hug each other, its normal practice in Punjab.”
The Kartarpur Corridor inauguration invite was also sent to India’s External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj but she had declined it, citing a busy schedule for the election rallies and the upcoming polls in the state of Telangana and Rajasthan.
