In a major development in the #MeToo movement controversy, the BJP leader Subramanian Swamy reacted on the allegations against the Union Minister MJ Akbar by several women journalists. He said 'I support #MeToo, PM should speak on this.'

Recently, the Women and Child Development Minister MAneka Gandhi said a four retired judges panel will hold a public hearing on #MeToo cases.
"The Ministry will be setting up a committee of senior judicial & legal persons as members to examine all issues emanating from the #MeTooIndia movement," Ms Gandhi was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Union Minister on Friday said that the center will form a panel of four-member committee of retired judges to conduct public hearings of cases of sexual assault and harassment widely published as part of the #MeToo movement on social media that has swept India, news agency PTI reported.
