Video: Caught on Camera! Tripura minister on stage with PM Modi, gropes woman ministerial colleague during Agartala rally
A video of a Tripura Minister groping a female ministerial colleague while sharing the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a rally in Agartala. The Tripura Minister, Monoj Kanti Deb’s video of groping a woman in a public view has surfaced on social media.
In the video, Deb can be seen putting his hand in the waist of Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Santana Chakma in an indecent manner. However, the young tribal leader was seen quickly pushing away the BJP minister's hand back.

Reacting to the incident, Tripura’s opposition Left Front demanded state Minister Monoj Kanti Deb be sacked for "touching" his woman ministerial colleague in an "indecent manner" during PM Modi's rally on Saturday (February 9, 2019).
"Monoj Kanti Deb must be sacked and be arrested for touching the woman minister in an extremely indecent manner on the stage from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and others addressed the public gathering," Left Front convener Bijan Dhar told the media.
"The male minister has publicly harmed the modesty, sanctity and dignity of the lone woman minister of Tripura at a public platform where the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister and other important personalities were present," he said.
While BJP rejected the left’s demand and said, after raking up non-issues against the BJP government, has now "started character assassination of BJP ministers on false and non-issue matters".
"The woman minister has never made any statement and complaint on the issue raised by the Left parties. Why are the Left parties doing these dirty politics?" he asked.
When contacted to Deb, who holds Food, Youth Affairs and Sports portfolios denied commenting on the matter.
