'Victor Tango Narendra Modi Devendra': Mumbai man builds homemade aircraft, names it after PM Modi

A Mumbai based man Amol Yadav has made a six-seater aircraft on the rooftop of a building. Interestingly, the man named this plane after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

For accomplishing this project, Amol had to sell off his house to fund the project, which cost him Rs 4 crore. After six years of hard work, Amol managed to make the plane and named it Victor Tango Narendra Modi Devendra.

For this work, Amol was also handed over a certificate of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

“The DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) has provided a registration certificate to pilot Amol Yadav,” a statement from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ office, quoted by NDTV, said on Monday. According to the reports, the CM has urged PM Modi to personally intervene in the Yadav’s plane project to take off.

The weight of TAC-003 is 1450 kg. It will be able to take a takeoff off from 13,000 feet at a speed of 1500 feet per minute. The speed in the air will be 185 miles. This plane is 6 seater and was displayed in the exhibition under the make in India scheme in 2016. When the plane had to be taken to an exhibition, it had to be dropped with the help of the crane.
