Uttar Pradesh: Man dies in bet challenge with friend; eats 41 eggs

A shocking incident came to light when a 42-year-old man died after consuming 41 eggs in a bet challenge with his friend.

The incident is reported from Jaunpur district where an egg challenge cost life of a man named Subash Yadav on Monday. According to police, the deceased was seen with a friend in Bibiganj market where he went to eat eggs. However, suddenly an argument broke out between the two and challenged to eat 50 eggs over Rs 2000.

Yadav accepted the challenge and started eating eggs. As he was about to eat 42nd egg he collapsed on the floor in distraught condition. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institue of Medical Sciences. However, he died after an hour.

Doctors claimed that Yadav died due to overeating while the family members refused to comment on the incident, as per police.
