The pilots managed to eject safely, claims reports. IAF Jaguar plane had took off from Gorakhpur Sir Force base.
"There is a populated place nearby, the pilot landed the plane at a distance from that place using his tactical expertise. He saved the life of others as well as his own,"RN Mishra, SP Kushinagar said on Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter plane crashed.

As per media report pilot tired to save lives and plane crashed in an open field. He tried to take aircraft far from the crowded place in Gorakhpur
The fighter plane crashed in a field and caught fire immediately. A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the accident.
