Congress MP Shashi Tharoor everyone’s favourite when it's about English class and when it is for defending India in foreign countries. Shashi Tharoor never fails to woo his followers with his Tharoorian dictionary. This time Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram schools US website that published an article and gave a new name to ‘Pranayama’.
The article said, "Cardiac coherence breathing exercises can stabilize the heartbeat and have a powerful ability to dampen anxiety." Which is basically what we have all been doing our entire life whenever we practice yoga.
When Tharoor came across the article he couldn’t hold himself from taking their class on their new name.
After seeing the article, Tharoor tweeted it with the caption, "Detailed description of the benefits of the 2500-year-old Indian technique of pranayama, dressed up in 21st c. scientific language as "cardiac coherence breathing"! It's taking the West a few millennia to learn what our ancients taught us millennia ago, but hey, you're welcome..."
