A post is going viral on social media where it is shown that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered for construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and that the required martials be delivered to the site of temple, where the construction has to begin.
The post is followed by some pictures of cranes and trucks which are transporting materials to a land which is barren.
The post was uploaded and shared from a Facebook page titled ‘Amit Shah Fans’ on October 27, which had received more than 3.5k shares.
The claim of Yogi Adityanath directing the administration to build Ram Mandir is completely false and the pictures being shown are of last year taken by The Wire, when Vishwa Hindu Parishad had transported bricks and other material in trucks to its Ayodhya headquarters in Karsewak Puram.
Although, after Supreme Court had delayed the hearing for the Ram-Mandir, Babri Masjid title suit to January 2019, several right wing leaders had expressed their disconcern, demanding a consensus on the grave issue and pass a resolution in the parliament.
Adityanath said on Tuesday, ““I would want an urgent resolution of the Ram Janmabhoomi issue. The responsibility of law and order in the state is on us and we will fulfil our duties. If the resolution is taken out by everyone’s consent then it will be the best, after that there are other options too and whichever suits the best should be taken.”
Yogi added, “We respect all the saints and seers and honour their concerns. One must not lose patience in bad times and should face the problems with a calm mind. This is a transition phase and I think seers should participate in the positive efforts that are being taken towards resolving the issue.”
