Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday flagged off the weekly express train Shraddha Sethu Express in Tamil Nadu's Rameswaram.
The regular services of the train between Rameswaram and Faizabad via Ayodhya will commence from Rameswaram on August 6 and from Faizabad on August 9 respectively.
The inaugural special train Faizabad-Rameswaram Weekly Express will commence from Ayodhya on July 30.
Shraddha Sethu Express shall depart from Rameswaram on every Sunday at 11.50 p.m. to reach Faizabad and will depart at 11.55 p.m. from Faizabad to reach Rameswaram.
The train comprises of one A.C. Two tier, Two A.C. Three tier, eight sleeper classes, four general classes and two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches and pantry car facility.
The train will stop at Manamadurai, Tiruchhirappalli, Thanjavur, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore, Gudur, Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Allahabad, Jaunpur and Ayodhya stations en-route.
