'Terrorism our common concern,' says Saudi Crown Prince, PM Modi mentions Pulwama

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has today said that extremism and terrorism are the “common concern” alongside PM Narendra Modi, who mentioned Pulwama terror attack in a joint address.

Saudi Arabia has further said that it will “cooperate with India and neighbouring states” on all fronts to eradicate terrorism as both countries have the common goal for the betterment of the upcoming generation.


Saudi Prince Salman, in a joint statement with PM Narendra Modi said, “Extremism & terrorism are our common concerns.We would like to tell our friend India that we'll cooperate on all fronts, be it intelligence sharing. We'll work with everyone to ensure a brighter future for our upcoming generations.”

Meanwhile, PM Modi mentioned about the dastardly terror attack in Pulwama which claimed the lives of more than 40 CRPF soldiers and after which, PM Modi had clearly stated that ‘time for talks are over.’

While in the joint statement, PM Modi said, “Pulwama mein hua barbar hamla duniya par chhai khatre ki nishani hai, hum is baat par sahmat hain ki atankwaad ko samarthan dene waale deshon pe sambhav dabav banane ki avyashkata hai.”

In agreement with Saudi Prince’s statement over terrorism, PM Modi said, “We agreed that there is a need to increase pressure on the countries which support terrorism.”

The bilateral talks between the two leaders of the country are being held in the background of tension over the issue of terrorism between India and Pakistan after the recent Pulwama attack, which was carried out by Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.
