Relating the Araria controversy to that of Jawaharlal Nehru University’ (JNU) in which doctored video was found by the Forensic investigation, he demanded to probe the authenticity of the video.
“History and the fact witnessed that such kind of video were circulated in the JNU controversy as well. But after the investigation, the video turned out to be doctored. First examine the authenticity of the video whether it is doctored. We want strict punishment to anyone who is found guilty in the case,” Yadav further tweeted.
Blaming the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the RSS for hatching conspiracy against Bihar, he said India is in the blood of Bihari people. “India resides in the blood of Bihari people. Anti-India sloganeering can be the conspiracy hatched by Nitish Kumar and his Friends from Nagpur. It must be probed. The guilty should be strongly punished. But how can we come to the conclusion without the forensic lab report.
Meanwhile, a fake news tracker website Altnews also examined the video and raised questions over the authenticity of the video.
In the anti-India sloganeering case, the Bihar police arrested two persons after coming out the video on the social media from Bihar's Araria district. The controversial slogans were allegedly raised during the victory celebrations of RJD MP Sarfraz Alam.
