Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, one of the setback for the BJP has come from the Northeast wherein the Tripura BJP’s vice president Subal Bhowmik has resigned from the party.
Bhowmik in a letter has said, “Humbly, I intend to submit that some unavoidable circumstances compelled me to relinquish all my position as office bearer of Tripura Pradesh BJP with immediate effect including that of primary membership. Inconvenience if any is regretted.”
