The son of Tej Bahadur Yadav, a dismissed BSF jawan, who had complained about bad food quality being provided to the security forces, was found dead in his residence in Rewari district of Haryana.
A police officer said in the matter that “We received a call that Rohit has committed suicide. At the crime spot, we discovered that the room was locked from inside. The body was lying on the bed. There was a pistol in his hands. His father has gone to attend Kumbh Mela. We have informed him.”
Rohit, 22-year-old had allegedly shot himself and committed suicide in his room in Shanti Vihar in Rewari’s Haryana. News agency ANI tweeted “Haryana: Rohit, 22-year-old son of Tej Bahadur Yadav (BSF constable who was dismissed from service after he had released a video last year on quality of food served to soldiers) found dead at his residence in Shanti Vihar, Rewari.”

After his dismissal, Tej Bahadur Yadav had claimed that he was forced to apply for retirement after releasing a video, wherein he had criticized the quality of food which is served to the personnel.
Yadav had told India Today that “I wasn't given a fair trial. I wanted to call colleagues as witnesses but they never allowed me to call them. The entire court martial proceeding was an eyewash.”
