Slum in Mumbai's Malad catches fire, four fire tenders at the spot

Slums situated in Malad area in Northern Mumbai have caught fire this evening, as reported by the news agency ANI.

Four fire tenders have been rushed at the spot and the evacuation process is underway. A thick layer of smoke was seen coming from the slums in the middle of it.

Police and ambulance are also on the way, as the fire brigade has started the process to extinguish the fire.
