A tragic incident took place in Gurugram, where a group of men tried to rape a 21-year-old information technology (IT) professional on Thursday. However, Police have arrested the five men while two were able to escape.
It is the incident of Thursday night when the girl was going toward her apartment on the second-floor in Sector 86 and then, these young men who were believed to be partying and having guns, liquor tried to do the crime with the girl.
However, the woman has raised an alarm, with the residents of the condominium claiming that two men who were arrested were living on the first floor in the same building.
Reportedly, they were the habitual offender. Also, Police delayed in registering the FIR against the criminals as they were tried to cover up the matter silently. However, FIR has been registered after the senior police officers were informed about the crime.
As per the reports of HT, the accused have been identified as Ankit alias Kali, his brother Sawan, Abhishek, Mukesh alias Monty and Sachin. While Hemant, a native of Badha village and Kamal alias Nandi are escaped.

As per the police, the incident took place at around 9:45 pm when the victim returned from her office and then, she was cornered by one of the accused in the staircase on the first floor.
However, all of the accused were drunk as they were partying at their home.
Meanwhile, Police is looking into the matter.
