An Indian Army soldier was arrested on charges of espionage in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. The interrogation is underway. The soldier and several others were held on an alleged espionage ring that was supplying secrets to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)

The army soldier was arrested for sying in the Meerut cantonment. The soldier belongs to the Indian Army's Signal Regiment. The accused was being interrogated, reported news agency ANI.
The arrest of the Army soldier comes days after the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh police held BrahMos Aerospace engineer Nishant Agrawal for allegedly sying and passing off sensitive information to Pakistan's ISI.
