In another shocking incident, a 20-years-old girl walked into the police station along with an aborted foetus in a shopping bag to register a rape complaint. The girl was reportedly being tortured and raped for months by her perpetrators.
According to reports, the incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna. The woman in her complaint stated that she was allegedly raped by four people over months after which she got pregnant and forced to abort the child. The girl carried the foetus as a proof against her rapists to the police station to file a complaint.
The case has been registered against the four accused-Neeraj Pandey, Dheeraj Pandey, Prem Kumar, Rajkumar and a nurse Sapna, who forcefully conducted her abortion. The victim also stated that she was threatened with dire consequences if she discloses the incident to anyone. A complaint has been filed in the matter under section 366, 367 (2), 201, 506, 315, 316, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
SSP Satna, VD Pandey told ANI that they initiated an investigation into the matter and will soon nab the perpetrators. "The victim has filed a complaint about the incident. We will further investigate the matter based on the same. The guilty will not be spared at any cost," Pandey said.
