Shocking! DU student wrote about getting harassed in DTC bus by group of men on social media; read here

A shocking incident took place with a Delhi University student who got jumped from a moving DTC bus in South Delhi. Yes, a 19-year-old girl jumped from the moving bus after a group of men were tried to molest her in the bus.

Even the student took to social media and wrote about what had happened to her.
The 19-year-old girl alleged that she was molested several times on the same bus route in the past three months.

She took to Twitter and wrote, ‘ A particular group of men who travel on route number 544 have repeatedly harassed her and some other women who also travel on the same route. She had previously raised the issue of molestation after which other passengers threw one of the men out of the bus. But he was back to usual the next day.’

Due to which she got frightened by the repeated molestation attempts by the group of men because of which she had also tried to take the different routes.

According to the sister of victim, the men were specially travelling on this route as many students used to go their colleges via the same route. She also alleged that one of the men also told the victim that he knows that in which college she studies in. ‘My sister was so scared that she jumped out of the moving bus in order to avoid him,’ said India Today reports.

Meanwhile, police has come into action and also looking into the matter. Police have also deployed the team in a civil dress so as to caught the suspects.
