A shocking incident has come to light from Chhattisgarh where a Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) jawan allegedly killed his wife by electrocuting her private parts in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. Yes, a jawan killed her because he doubted her loyalty towards him.
According to the Police, jawan murdered her when she was washing clothes in the bathroom, Suresh Miri went inside the bathroom and all of sudden started beating her. After getting unconscious, the jawan passed current to her private parts with a help of a live wire which caused her to death on the spot, said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Sargaon police outpost, Paras Ram Jagat told PTI.
During the investigation, the accused identified as Suresh Miri, a cook with the 6th battalion of the CAF in Dantewada district. He also confessed his crime and told about how he killed his wife, Laxmi. He told to Police that he was having the suspect of having an extra-marital affair with Laxmi, therefore, he took her life, said Police official.
The couple had an argument on Wednesday afternoon, said reports. The couple lived in a housing board colony along with their two children in Bhatapara, located around 80 kilometres away from the state capital Raipur, said ASI.
Suresh (33) has been taken into Police custody on 18th July by Sargaon police in Mungeli district.
Reportedly, Miri had told his in-laws that his wife, Laxmi was died due to illness. However, the family has confronted him after seeing the dead body and informed the Police.
However, Police reached the spot and took Miri into the custody. Later, Police have sealed the house where the incident took place.
