All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader T.T.V. Dinakaran, after receiving expelled AIADMK general secretary V. K. Sasikala from the jail on Friday, said that she has been directed to keep away from all political activities during the parole period.
Sasikala has been granted an emergency parole for five days to meet her ailing husband M. Natarajan in Chennai. She and Dinakaran left for Chennai in a private car from the jail at Parapanna Agrahara, on the southern outskirts of Bangalore.
While speaking to ANI, Dinakaran said, "Sasikala is out on parole and we are so glad about it. Cadres have also given her a great welcome. Finally, Karnataka prison authorities have given approval to her plea. She has been out on parole but on various conditions like, should not visit political cadres, should not attend or organise any press meet and also should not leave the city".
"Also, if she comes to Chennai then law and order will be disturbed said our Tamil Nadu government. Since many conditions have been put on her from the state government that is the reason why, Sasikala's bail got delayed. Also, the present rule is trying to suppress us by police force, but I'm sure nothing can stop us. When no confidence motion hits this government it will be dissolved that very day," he said.
Sasikala was given emergency parole on Friday, but is only allowed to visit the hospital where her husband Natarajan is admitted and to stay at the residence as mentioned in her application.
During the parole period, she is not supposed to entertain any visitors either at her residence or at the hospital.
Sasikala's husband has been hospitalised for the last nine months due to kidney and liver ailment.
