Union Minister and LJP supremo Ram Vilas Paswan’s daughter Asha Paswan has issued threats to sit on Dharna if his father doesn’t apologizes to Rabri Devi over veiled attack on her literacy.
The subject matter being discussed was the recent 10% quota for the General category under the economically backward section, to which the Rashtriya Janta Dal, led by Lalu Prasad Yadav, had objected and voted against in the Parliament.
Ram Vilas Pawasn issued statement earlier that all those who are against the Bill are “In a similar way, opposition parties are envious of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over this big political measure. They don't know how to react. Many of them are questioning it but can't help supporting it as well.”
And without naming anybody, Paswan attacked Rabri Devi saying, “They (RJD) believe in merely raising slogans and making ''angootha chhap'' (illiterate person) the chief minister.”
To this jibe, her daughter Asha Paswan has resorted a protest against Ram Vilas and said that such comments are unacceptable, and ‘he will have to apologize.’
Asha said “Papa has insulted Rabri Devi. My mother too was uneducated - a reason why he abandoned her. He must apologise or else I will stage a dharna in front of the LJP office.”
Ram Vilas Paswan while attacking the RJD and their grand alliance with Congress, RLSP and saying that they won’t be able to win a single seat in the Lok Sabha polls, he said, “RJD will not be able to open its account in Bihar in Lok Sabha polls. All sections of society are happy and if people are happy, then it will obviously benefit the NDA.”
