Rajasthan: Six of family, including 4 kids, found dead under mysterious circumstances

Six members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Udaipur district, Rajasthan on November 21. Among the dead are four children.

According to police, the horrific incident took place in Jhalodi village under the jurisdiction of Gogunda Police Station. Prima facie it appear that the head of the family (Pappu) killed his wife (Durgga Bai) and children and then committed suicide by hanging himself. It is also learned that the family is living in poverty and misery.

Police said, the bodies of Pappu and three children were found hanging while the bodies of his wife and a child were lying on the bed.

A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and dog squad reached the incident spot and collected the evidence. Bodies of the deceased have been sent for the postmortem.

Three months prior, Pappu had returned from the Gujarati’s Surat. He used to do cleaning work in houses. It is also learned that he was walking ill for a long time.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
