Two loan recovery agents of a private finance company suffered burn injuries after a man allegedly poured hot oil on the ‘loan sharks’ in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu.
According to the police, the accused have been absconding after throwing hot oil on the finance company’s employees.
The incident took place on December 15 near Rani Sati Road when the loan recovery agents visited the man for the collection of the EMI. Swami allegedly argued with the agents, threw hot oil on Kuldeep and Naveen Kumar, and fled the scene.
"There was a heated argument between the two sides when Swami filled a jug of hot oil from the wok of a nearby shop and poured it on the victims," said ASI Narendra Singh of Kotwali Police Station.
Kuldeep was released from the hospital after being administered first aid while Naveen is still undergoing treatment.
