Rahul Hugs Modi: BJP leader Dattarprasad Naik calls Rahul Gandhi 'loafer' over wink and hug in Lok Sabha

The hug and wink of the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha after a fiery speech on ‘no-confidence motion’ did not go well with the BJP leaders. The party’s leaders including PM Modi himself took a dig at Gandhi over wink and hug.

In the latest development, the BJP’s Goa spokesperson Dattaprasad Naik attacked Congress president Gandhi, saying that his hug and wink was like a “loafer”.

Calling it a stunt to grab headlines and cheap gimmicks, Naik said “I would request the Goa Congress to support their central party office in finding a credible leader for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as their President Rahul Gandhi is finding it difficult to grab headlines and had to stoop down to cheap gimmicks”.

Calling it an act which is done by the loafer, he said “Rahul Gandhi, who does not have substance or understanding of the issues related to the people of India, had to resort to hugging the PM in the temple of democracy and then winking like a loafer.”

Referring to the wink, he further said “It is a shame that today the Congress party has become a kathputli in the hands of the Gandhi family”.

It seems that the BJP spokesperson’s attack was in reaction to Chodankar’s statement that Parrikar was acting like a “kathputli” in the hands of the BJP’s coalition partners in the state.
