Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Friday took a potshot at in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first press conference in five years and called it “Excellent Press Conference”.
Attacking PM Modi and Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and said: "Congratulations Modi Ji. Excellent Press Conference! Showing up is half the battle. Next time Mr Shah may even allow you to answer a couple of questions. Well done!" Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

During the press conference, PM Modi spoke about the election campaign but refused to answer any questions that were asked by the media. Amit Shah answered them instead.
The people have decided that this government should continue. Our government introduced a new culture of governance in India," PM Modi said in his address.
Campaigning for the seventh and final phase for Lok Sabha elections has ended. The counting of votes will be done on May 23rd.
While PM Modi and Amit Shah were taking joint press briefing Rahul Gandhi too addressed media on Friday evening. Congress chief said "It is an unprecedented event. I heard some journalists have been blocked from attending PM Modi's press conference."
"Since the PM is doing a live press conference, I want to ask him why didn't you debate with me on Rafale? I had challenged you for a debate; tell the press why didn't you debate?" Rahul Gandhi added.
Voting for the 59 Lok Sabha seats that are in Phase 7 will be held on May 19.
