Pune Shocker: TCS employee hangs self after murdering wife, 8-year-old son

In a shocking incident, a 44-year-old IT professional allegedly killed his wife (40) and their son (8) before hanging himself in Pune’s Aundh area, police said on March 15.

The police initiated an investigation following a missing complaint filed at Chatushrungi Police Station the yesterday night.

According to DCP Shashikant Borate, police recovered three bodies from Natasha Building in the Aundh area.

Based on the initial investigation, police believe that Sudipto Ganguly, who worked at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), killed his wife Priyanka and their son Tanishk by suffocating them with a plastic sheet before committing suicide by hanged himself.

The cause of the alleged murder-suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Police have lodged a case and investigating the matter from all angles.
