In the wake of deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district which claimed 40 soldiers life, India might suspend its on going talks with Pakistan over Kartarpur corridor.
In a meeting which was scheduled to take place on March 14 over Kartarpur corridor, as informed by the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar, might get postponed or declined after attacks in Pulwama by Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad.
Raveesh, who had informed about India’s proposal to elaborate a technical level discussion of engineers, were waiting for Pakistan’s response over it.
Raveesh had said, “They have suggested an alternative border crossing point. We had also proposed a technical level discussion at the level of engineers and this should not be held hostage to the main meeting that will take place on March 14.”

In a high level meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security, India had withdrawn ‘Most Favored Nation’ status from Pakistan with immediate effect and now, as per media reports, it is being said that India is likely to suspend talks over Kartarpur corridor.
Earlier, the Central Reserve Police Force tweeted while saluting the martyrs, “WE WILL NOT FORGET, WE WILL NOT FORGIVE:We salute our martyrs of Pulwama attack and stand with the families of our martyr brothers. This heinous attack will be avenged.”
Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi has sent strong message to the terrorists and neighboring Pakistan, stating “The terrorists...they have made a big mistake. You will have to pay a very heavy price. I assure everyone that the forces behind the attack. We will bring them to justice.”
