Prakash Javadekar slams Arvind Kejriwal for his 'blame game' in polluted Delhi

Delhi has turned into a gas chamber due to smoke from crop burning in neighbouring states

Environment minister Prakash Javadekar at an event said the Delhi CM is doing politics on Delhi's pollution and blaming Punjab, Haryana for stubble burning. The Union Minister further said that if the blame game starts, many hidden matters will come out. Instead of blaming everyone, the efforts should be on cooperation to provide relief to the people.

While discussing Delhi government'ss attitude Javadekar said that they never gave 35 thousand crores that the local government was supposed to contribute to the construction of eastern peripheral expressway and bypass in the connectivity of Delhi. Finally, the Court had to intervene in the matter to ask them to deposit 1000 crore for the project.

The minister also stated that the project of Eastern Peripheral was hanging from the last 15 years and it was only get completed in the last 5 years of Modi government. This project will relieve the burden of 60 thousand trucks which did not otherwise have to pass through the city resulting in reducing pollution.
