Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said the 'masked' men involved in the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) attack will be exposed soon.

Taking to reporters the union minister said, "Misunderstandings are being spread in the university and in other parts of the country to incite violence regarding the incident.

"This will also be exposed," he added.

On the other hand, a JNU Professor Sucharita Sen, who had sustained injuries on her head during an attack on students and teachers on the campus, has filed a complaint with Delhi Police.

"Outsiders had gathered at the university campus with sticks, iron rods, and deadly weapons. I was first hit with a large stone on my shoulder and then with even a larger one on my head, following which I fell on the ground bleeding profusely," Suchitra said.

Meanwhile, the city police have filed an FIR against 20 persons, including the JNU student Union president Aishe Ghosh for allegedly attacking the security guards and vandalizing the university properties.

The FIR was registered on January 5.

As per the complaint filed by the JNU authorities, the accused were involved in physical violence and pushed the women guards. The female guards were also abused verbally and threatened.

At least 30 people, including JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh, were injured as chaos reigned on the campus for nearly two hours.
