Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on 30 September said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked beyond the boundaries of religion and caste.
"India can become a world leader only when its leader has the capacity to lead and Prime Minister Modi is one such leader. The Prime Minister is equally popular in Muslim countries, because he has worked beyond the boundaries of religion and caste," said Naqvi during an interview with Jagdish Chandra, CEO of ZEE Media regional channels and ZEE Hindustan in the latest episode of 'A Dialogue with JC' show.
He further said Prime Minister Modi's agenda is to reach out to villages, the poor and the youth of the country.
"Prime Minister Modi's agenda is to reach out to villages, the poor and the youth of the country. I feel close to Prime Minister Modi and party president Amit Shah, as both of them are closely associated with the organisation," he said.
Naqvi praised the Prime Minister for his enthusiasm, his zeal to work at any hour and in any situation.
He maintained that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had undertaken a visit of India recently "because our country is progressing at pace of bullet."
"The government's work speaks for itself. The country is going in for major reforms," he said.
