PM Modi’s brother, his family injured in car accident near Mysuru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi and his family members sustained injuries after the car they were traveling in met with an accident on December 27. The incident took place near Mysuru at around 2 pm.

Other than the driver, Prahlad Modi, his son Mehul, his daughter-in-law Zinal, and grandson Menath were in the car when the mishap happened.

As per police, the incident took place near Kadakola when their SUV car hit the divider. The front portion of the vehicle was severely damaged, with the right front wheel missing. Prahlad Modi and his family were on their way to Mysuru from Bandipur.

Police said that the passengers sustained minor injuries and were shifted to JSS Hospital in Mysuru.

Mysuru MP Pratap Simha took to Twitter and informed about the incident, menitoning that the Modi family is out of danger.

“Our beloved PM @narendramodiji’s brother Prahlad Modiji’s family met with an accident near Kadakol, Mys. All are out of any kind of danger. Only the grandson has fractured his left leg. Nothing to worry,” Mysuru MP wrote on Twitter.

Damodardas Mulchand Modi and his wife Heeraben Modi have six children, with Prahlad Modi being the fourth.
