Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued another appeal to Indian on lockdown in the country today. PM Modi requested people to take the lockdown seriously in a bid to prevent the coronavirus outspread in the country.
Ruing the fact that some people were not taking the lockdown seriously and also disobeying the law and orders.
PM Modi posted a tweet and said, “Some people are still not taking the lockdown seriously. Please save yourself and your families, follow the instructions seriously. I request respective state governments to ensure the people follow rules and obey laws.”

The tweet of PM Modi has come a day after a countrywide lockdown was announced by the government in a bid to tackle the COVID-19 infection.
On Sunday, the Modi government also announced that public transport facilities like all passenger trains and inter-state bus and Metro services would remain suspended till March 31.
Additionally, several state governments announced the lockdowns in their respective territories, which include Delhi, Punjab, Jharkhand, Nagaland, among others.
While some state governments have announced lockdown in several districts in Bihar, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. On the other hand, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, West Uttarakhand had announced partial or complete lockdown earlier.
Meanwhile in India, 390 cases of coronavirus have been reported and the death toll has risen to 7 as three more deaths due to COVID-19 were reported on Sunday.
