The semi-final battle of the state assembly election has come to end on 11th December 2018. The results were cleared that the saffron party which has made its control over India by winning 2014 Lok Sabha elections and also got many states under its control, now seems to lost them. As Modi magic didn’t work this time in the five states Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram.
However, on this big loss, PM Modi has accepted the defeat and also congratulated the winning parties Congress, Mizo National Front and Telangana's K Chandrashekar Rao.
Congress has defeated BJP in two states and snatched heartland states where the saffron party was ruling, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, where it has completed its one term.
However, in Madhya Pradesh, Congress and BJP have given a tough fight to each other. While in Telangana and Mizoram, where BJP’s expectation was high to get the good result but, the results were neither on the side of BJP nor Congress.
However, PM Modi took to Twitter and congratulated everyone for the victory and accepted the defeat.
He wrote, ‘We accept the people’s mandate with humility.
I thank the people of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for giving us the opportunity to serve these states. The BJP Governments in these states worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people.’

I thank the people of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for giving us the opportunity to serve these states. The BJP Governments in these states worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people.
Meanwhile, the elections in these five states have been considered as a semi-final battle before the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. On the other hand, BJP leaders denied the fact that these results will not affect the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections since elections are contested on local issues.
