Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Seoul Peace Prize on Friday, during his two-day visit to South Korea for 'economic and global peace.' The award was first announced by the Seoul Peace Prize Cultural Foundation in October last year.
After receiving the Seoul Peace Prize, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I am honoured to be awarded the Seoul Peace Prize. I believe that this award belongs not to me personally, but to the people of India. The award belongs to the success India has seen in less than five years, powered by 1.5 billion people."
