People across the country celebrated the festival of colours, Holi, with lots of enthusiasm and zeal. Children were seen sprinkling coloured water with Pichkari (water gun) at their friends, while their parents celebrated Holi by applying Gulal to each other.
The streets were drenched in multiple colours today as people enjoyed the festival of colours with full enthusiasm and without the COVID restrictions like in previous years.
During the Holi celebrations in Delhi, foreigners were seen joining in with locals as they applied Gulal at each other and danced to Bollywood songs.

In Kolkata, people flocked to the prominent Shree Siddhivinayak Devasthanam temple and played Holi with each other. They were seen dancing on religious songs.

The festival was also celebrated by politicians, including Bihar's Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister, Tej Pratap Yadav, who celebrated Holi at his residence in Patna.
