At least 45 charred to death, 12 injured after a bus fell down in a ditch in Pauri Garhwal in Uttrakhand on Sunday morning. According to reports, a minibus carrying passengers, which was headed for Ramnagar from Bhoan. While the reason for the accident isn't known yet, most of the passengers were instantly killed when the bus plunged into the 60-foot-deep gorge.
The injured were rushed to the hospital. The number of casualties is expected to rise, said Garhwal commissioner Dilip Jawalkar.

Four of passengers were critically injured in the accident which happened on the Pipali-Bhoan motorway in Pauri Garhwal's Nainidanda block. The police and a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are facilitating rescue operations.
As per reports, the 28 seater mini bus was overloaded and that could have led the accident. However, cause of accident is still not clear.
