The son of Janata Dal United (JDU) MLA Bima Bharti was found dead on a railway track here on Friday.
The body of the boy, Deepak, was found on the railway track in front of Nalanda Medical College Hospital near Patna's Rajendra Nagar terminal.
According to police sources, the deceased went to a friend's place to attend a party when the incident took place.
Bima Bharti, the MLA from the Rupauli Constituency, alleged that her son was murdered.
Meanwhile, the Patna police are still trying to figure out the reason behind the death. "We can't say the exact cause of the death. We will know after the post-mortem report comes," said Patna (centre range) Deputy Inspector General, Rajesh Kumar.
On a related note, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter and expressed grief over the incident, blaming Nitish Kumar-led government for the lack of law and order in the state.
"In a shocking incident, son of a JDU MLA & Ex. Minister is found dead in Patna. I'm saddened to hear about it. Bihar's law & order situation is completely out of order," tweeted Tejashwi.
