Odisha Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy resigns; might join BJP ahead of 2019 polls

Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy has resigned from the cabinet of Naveen Patnaik today.

As per the information, he has tendered his resignation to the Chief Minister’s Ofiice and further details are yet to come.

But, sources have suggested that he might join the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha polls of 2019 as BJP is looking to capture Odisha from the ruling Biju Janta Dal.
