Delhi Government has implemented an odd-even scheme in the national capital on November 5 to control the Air Quality Index in the capital.
The decision to start the odd-even formula was taken after air quality got severe in Delhi post-Diwali.
Since the implementation of the scheme by the Kejriwal-led government, netizens are divided over the decision.
Some of the users thanked the Delhi government for re-starting the scheme and pushing people to use public transport not only to control the pollution but also minimizing road traffics.
“Dy CM @msisodia cycled today to work to Delhi Secretariat, ITO from his residence near Supreme Court, with a message to Delhi – "Please follow #OddEven, for yourself, not because of the govt. has enforced it,” a user wrote.

Not a fan of the #OddEven band-aid at a time when we are hemorraring
However i'll not a dick & oppose even a small measure of removing 50% of vehicles off the streets of the capital for a few days#ActionNotWords
Sorry Delhi not with u in Odd Even as I am out of town this week. But to make my contribution in ur fight against pollution, I willn't drive my Car atleast in November or till the time air quality improves! I will happily use DTC buses for free travel!#OddEven #ChangeWhatYouCan

#OddEven is like trying to save a person from a Heart attack by Homeopathy.

It doesn't matter that PM2.5 INCREASED during previous Odd-Evens brought in by the Industrial-scale fraudster @ArvindKejriwal to reduce JUST 2% of total Delhi Pollution that is caused by cars, to 1%.

Water sprinkling?
Vaccum cleaning of roads?
Better public transport?
Environmental clearance for industries?
We can do much more than this publicity farce of #OddEven! https://t.co/cehyQdUWhH
