Nirbhaya Case Hearing: New death warrant issued against four convicts; to be executed on March 3

The four convicts, who have been facing the gallows in the gangrape and murder of a 23-year-old medical student in Delhi in 2012, will now be executed on 3rd March, at 6 am.

This was the third death warrent put out by the court, the two earlier warrents issued couldn’t be conducted as the convicts took it in turns to use every legal option accessible to them.

The latest death warrent was used after the Tihar jail authorities notified the trial court that three of the convicts have used up all legal options and none of them have any appeals unsettled in any court at the moment.
