NIA court issues non-bailable warrant against Malegaon Blasts accused

A special National Investigation Agency court on Wednesday issued a Non-bailable warrant against 2008 Malegaon blasts accused Sudhakar Dwivedi alias Dayanand Pandey after he was regularly absent in several hearings at the court.

At present, he is out on bail but has not been attending the court hearings. The next hearing in the will take place on September 5.


Sudhakar Dhar Dwivedi alias Dayanand Pandey is an accused in Malegaon 2008 blasts case.
According to NIA's case, he was part of the conspiracy and had attended meetings with some of the co-accused in Bhopal and Faridabad in April 2008. He was given bail by Special NIA court in September 2017.

He is also accused of possessing SIM cards from which various calls were made to accused Lt Col Prasad Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya Thakur during the conspiracy in the Malegaon 2008 blasts.
