New Year Alert! No exit from Rajiv Chowk Metro station after 9 pm on 31st December, directs DMRC

Ahead of the new year 2019, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made an important announcement for all the people who have planned to party whole night in Delhi. DMRC has announced that no passengers will be allowed to exit from the Rajiv Chowk metro station after 9 pm on December 31.

However, as per the guidelines issued by the DRMC, the passengers will be allowed to enter the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station after 9 pm for boarding the trains.


According to reports, Delhi Metro's Lajpat Nagar-Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 section of pink line will open for the public commute from December 31. The five station stretch metro line has been inaugurated by Manish Sisodia, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs at 11 am today. It will be opened for public from 4 pm.

The metro will cover five stations– Lajpat Nagar, Vinobapuri, Ashram, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Mayur Vihar Phase-I and Mayur Vihar Pocket-1.
