Bihar Police have seized the licensed arms, including one pistol, one gun & six bullets belonging to the main accused Brajesh Thakur.

Brajesh Thakur is the main accused in the Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case, where around 40 minor girls were sexually assaulted over a period of time. Eleven employees of the shelter home were arrested for harassing a number of girls residing at the facility.

Recently, an arrest warrant was ordered to be issued against the former Bihar social and welfare minister Manju Verma's husband Chandrashekhar Verma in connection with the case.

In August, former social welfare minister Manju Verma was 'forced' to resign over the issue after the name of her husband Chandrashekhar was involved in the case.

Meanwhile, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on August 11, detained Thakur's son after questioning him in connection with the matter.
