Mumbai: UP government's chartered plane crashes in Ghatkopar; five died
A breaking news has come from Mumbai's Ghatkopar where a chartered plane crashes. The plane crashed on the terrace of a building due to which a fire broke out. According to the reports, the crashed plane belongs to the Uttar Pradesh government. Five people have died, including the pilot, three passengers and a pedestrian in the accident.
The Chartered plane was crashed when it was about to land, at near Sarvodaya Nagar in Ghatkopar, according to reports.
The plane belonged from Mumbai's UY aviation. Reportedly, the King Air C90 can seat between seven and 10 people.
However, Mumbai's Metropolitan Fire Brigade, 108 ambulance service and police services have been mobilised. A team of National Disaster Relief Force has also been rushed to the spot.
As per DGCA sources, the plane was a Uttar Pradesh Govt aircraft VT-UPZ, KING AIR C90 and it crashed near Sarvodaya Nagar, Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
