Mumbai: Several people evacuated after building catches fire

Eight to ten people were evacuated as a residential building in Thane caught fire on 22 September morning.

A building in Bhiwandi in the Wanjarpatti Nakah area caught fire on 22 September morning, with fire-fighting vehicles reaching the spot and evacuating around ten people.

Two petrol pumps, which are near the building, were shut down for safety reasons.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
