Mumbai Crime: Mentally challenged girl gang-raped, filmed by minors
In a shocking incident, a mentally challenged girl was allegedly gang-raped by three minors in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, police said on January 21.
The incident took place when the girl went to answer nature’s call. The accused minors forcefully took the girl inside the toilet and gang-raped her. They also recorded a video and uploaded it to a social media platform.

The crime came to light when the victim’s brother saw the viral video and informed relatives about it.
The family of the girl lodged a case at the Ghatkopar Police Station. Police arrested the accused minors and sent them to the juvenile home.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
