At least five senior citizens have been killed in the fire that broke out in a 15-storey residential building at the 14th floor of Sargam Society in Chembur, Mumbai on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, the reason behind the fire is still unknown.

However, the fire has been declared as the level-3 fire.

According to the fire brigade officials, the fire was started around 7:50 pm on the 11th floor of the building located at Tilak Nagar on Thursday evening. Soon, the fire spread to the 10th floor and few of the residents were stuck on building’s 13th and 14th floor. However, the rest of the building got evacuated.
