Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat while delivering his second day of the three-day lecture series on Bharat future: An RSS perspective’ in New Delhi, Mohan Bhagwat said that RSS believes in 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' (the world is one family) and not against the Muslim community.
He also added that ‘we believe in Hindu Rashtra but we are not against the Muslims.’ He also added that ‘we believe in vasudhaiva kutumbakam and every panth (sect) has its space in it.’
He kept on saying that the Hindu Rashtra does not mean that there is no space for Muslims. The day it happens, we would not be a Hindu Rashtra.
"I have heard that Indian Muslims going to Haj are considered Hind Muslim ... then there's Indic thought. We have no problems with those who use Bharat, Indic, Arya ... we use the term Hindu," Bhagwat said.
Bhagwat also told that RSS aims to bring the reforms in the entire society. He also said that Politics has a different view according to the different political parties. Therefore, RSS has decided to keep itself away from politics. He also added that Sangh will not accept any political post in any party.
Earlier, Mohan Bhagwat was also appreciated Congress for its contribution in the freedom movement of India.
