MK Stalin (65), President of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), who has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai will have to undergo a minor surgery. Yes, a medical bulletin has been released by the hospital.
According to the press note released by Apollo, ‘Mr. MK Stalin, DMK President was admitted to Apollo hospital greams road late last night. He underwent a minor surgical procedure for the removal of a cyst from right thigh. He will be discharged this afternoon.’

After the minor surgery, Stalin will be discharged today.
Earlier, T R Baalu, Principal Secretary, DMK said that Stalin felt discomfort in his Alwarpet house in midnight and was admitted to Apollo hospital.
He also said that there was nothing serious. Baalu also told to HT that Stalin was continuously involved in the party works. He further told that Stalin didn’t go for medical check-ups for the past two months.
He also told that ‘Doctors have examined MK Stalin and advised him to take rest for one or two days.’
Earlier, it was reported that Stalin was hospitalised because of a kidney infection.
MK Stalin took the charge of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(DMK) as a President after the death of his father and DMK supremo Karunanidhi on 7th August.
